We hope everyone has a happy and prosperous 2024! The VBCCO’s initiatives for 2024 are to increase membership in order to increase citizen awareness of the issues facing the City and the taxpayer citizens. One issue is that if we keep spending money at the same rate we are now, that we will runout of money by 2031. That means changes must be made now, not in a couple of years. Another issue is that 4 Council Members re up for re-election in 2024 (the Mayor and 3 District representatives) and that will change how the City conducts its business.
