The VBCCO President, Rick Boyles, has been appointed by City Council to the 11 member Collective Bargining Task Force. The Task Force is charged with investigating whether to allow Collective Bargaining (Unions) by City employees and, if so, which groups and what subjects on which to allow bargaining. The first meeting was held Friday afternoon, 9/22/23 and was an organizational meeting and an opportunity to set expectations. This should prove to be interesting.
